Miss Right Now

While I was cooking my breakfast this morning, Morgan raised an interesting point. Am I 'Miss Right Now' for a certain friend? That was totally depressing, and based on a conversation I had with said person yesterday when I said that it's convenient that I'm around to be an impromptu date/escort for events or activities or trips or what-have-you, in response to his saying that it was nice to not have to think about finding a date for things or something like that.

I do not want to be convenient. And I guess it could be worse, I could be considered ONLY when there was some event where a date was needed.

But a 'Miss Right Now' would put out, I think - and I'm surely not doing that.

Or maybe she wouldn't.

I need a nap.
