So What am I Taking?

No one cares. But I'm putting it up anyway.

LIBR 200: Information and Society
Explores the complex social, economic, historical, and technological developments that influence the impact of information on society. The mission, values and ethics of information professionals are also analyzed.

LIBR 202: Information Retrieval
Principles of information retrieval and their application to information systems and services. Emphasizing models of user information seeking behavior, human information processing and their relationship to retrieval models in information systems.

LIBR 204: Information Organizations and Management
Identifying distinguishing characteristics, culture and relationships of information organizations. Emphasizes theories examining the interaction between human beings and the organizations in which they work.

Come on. You're getting a chubby just thinking about it. Yeah, neither am I. Excited yes - turned on? Not so much.

So in two months I'll be sitting alone in front of a monitor learning something. Which seems pretty sterile. We'll see how it goes.
