I'll start off by saying that I love Vegas. Love love love it - not enough to live there permanently, but it's one of my favorite cities and I spend a lot of time there.

But.

This story bothers me a lot.

Obviously a lot of construction is happening in Vegas every day. The Strip is different every time I see it, and I'm there at least every other month. It's not unexpected that accidents are going to happen.

But I know that CityCenter is being completely funded on cash by MGM/Mirage...and there is a huge push to get it built and open so they can make their money back. I just wonder how many accidents it's worth so they can recoup their investment.
